ISI Thanksgiving

All Day
Category: AllWould you welcome 2-3 international students into your home this Thanksgiving?
Steve and Tash Hope are members of Westgate, and Steve serves as a missionary with International Students Inc (ISI). Steve meets with students at several universities in the greater Boston area and leads Discovery Bible studies. Each year, ISI hosts an event welcoming international students into local homes to share Thanksgiving Day. Many international students never have an opportunity to set foot inside an American home. They are excited to spend time with your family and see how American families spend time together. Thanksgiving is a distinctly American tradition and gives you a great opportunity to share what you do as a family. Whether it is eating a turkey dinner at home with family or going to a restaurant, watching a local football game, playing board games or whatever else you do as your Thanksgiving traditions, the students love it! And very often, it gives you a chance to share the Gospel. (Note: In past years, this has been a weekend event with students from the entire northeast region. This year however, it will be Thanksgiving day only, and will be for local students studying in the greater Boston area.)
