Mitten Making Party

A special project to create mittens for Starlight Ministries, supporting people affected by homelessness.   Please join us on Wednesday, August 15, from 1-4pm for an afternoon of cutting and sewing fleece mittens.  All the mittens created will be donated to Starlight Ministries, a Westgate ministry partner.  We will be cutting out the mitten pieces from fleece fabric, then sewing them together.  Don’t worry if you can’t sew!  We will let you cut or pin!  Please RSVP to Mimi Karys (email: mkarys@rcn.com, phone: 617-620-1639) so they can make sure to have enough supplies.   Also let Mimi know if you have a sewing machine to bring.  All are welcome!
