Welcome Eric Campos, our new Assistant Pastor

We are excited to announce that Westgate has officially hired Eric Campos to serve as Assistant Pastor. The plan to search for and hire an Assistant Pastor was approved by the congregation at this year’s Annual Meeting, and we are thankful for God’s guidance in identifying Eric as a qualified and capable leader to join our pastoral staff. Eric, his wife Stephanie, and son Elliot currently live in the Chicago area where they have lived for seven years while in school and working in the ministry field. Eric has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and is currently enrolled at Reformed Theological Seminary where he is studying for his Master of Divinity degree.

Eric will be working part time for Westgate while also completing his coursework. He will participate in and help to lead Westgate’s youth ministry in addition to quarterly preaching, involvement in outreach initiatives, and assisting with A/V and technology responsibilities. He will report to Pastors Bruce and Travis and will begin work on August 1.

Eric is well known by many at Westgate who remember him as a member of the youth group. We are excited to welcome him back and to see him continue to grow as a man of God and as a Pastor. The Campos family will be moving to MetroWest in the coming weeks; please join us in praising God for His provision and also in welcoming Eric, Stephanie, and Elliot to our church family!
