Update from Reopening Task Force

As we approach our reopening, once again we want to thank the many people who have helped us move forward seamlessly.  We appreciate everyone for your continuing investment in God’s work at Westgate.

When we return, 40% of us will worship in the building, and 60% will worship at home. Because of this, our church will seem different. Although many of us will be in separate places, we are still one in Christ, and we will serve Him as one body. We encourage everyone to continue in fellowship by participating in home groups, Bible studies, prayer venues and other Westgate online ministries. Let us prioritize our care for one another at this time.

Our reopening target date is June 21. For those who choose to meet in the building, the worship experience will be different, and because of the differences, we may feel as though we are being controlled.  We will be met by an usher at the front door, directed to specific seats and asked to wear appropriate masks during the service. In addition, we will have little interaction while in the church building.  Unfortunately, we must implement these measures in order to ensure everyone’s safety.

Our policies and procedures for reopening are attached HERE.  If you have not yet completed reopening survey, you can find it HERE.  Again, thank you for your patience with our process.  May we continue to cherish each other as we work together to see Christ treasured above all things throughout Metrowest and the world.

Serving our Savior together,

The Reopening Task Force
