Michael is a passionate communicator who loves building leaders who will make maximum kingdom impact through gospel-centered ministry for God’s greater glory.
Michael lives with his wonderful wife, Kate, and three children in Aurora, Colorado. Nine years ago he planted Wellspring Community Church, where he continues to lead as Teaching Pastor. He also teaches History and Classics as an adjunct at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, and serves as board president of Colorado Family Life Center, a nonprofit ministry to teen parents.
Michael graduated with a B.A. from the University of Kansas, a M.Div. from Golden Gate Seminary, and is currently working on his D.Min. at Gordon-Conwell. Before planting Wellspring, he served on staff with a branch of Campus Crusade for Christ called Here's Life Inner City in Denver, CO, and later with Cru's prison ministry in Wisconson.
Michael loves camping in the Rockies with his family, lever-action rifles, books about dead preachers, and a hot cup of coffee.
