Celebrating 40 Years
Join us September 20, 2015
On June 1, 1975, Westgate Church held its first public worship service at Regis College. Forty years later, God is still at work in and through us, continuing to refashion us into his image and using us to bring the gospel of Jesus to bear on lives throughout the MetroWest.
As we begin our fall ministry season, we want to take a moment to reflect on and give praise to God for what he has done in and through us these past 40 years. Join us on Sunday, September 20, as we commemorate Westgate’s 40th anniversary.
The celebration will begin with our morning worship service at 10:30 a.m., where we will look at what lies ahead in living out our vision to be a gospel-centered community living each day on mission for Christ.
Then during the evening we’ll return to Westgate to reflect on and give praise to God for his mighty acts in our story so far. We’ll begin at 5:30 p.m. with a potluck meal in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a time of remembrance and testimony. The evening will conclude at 7:30 p.m.
For the potluck dinner, we encourage families of three or more to bring a main dish and a side or dessert. Couples or singles, please bring a side or dessert.
We hope you can join us as we commend God’s great works to one another.
